Executive Brief: Impact Made After The Launch Of Narrative AI

Recipient: C-Suite & Board Of Directors

Date: November 26,2025

This brief is the summary of impact made by Narrative AI within the first 90 days after it's launch on August 15, 2025. Narrative AI which is the generative writing tool for longform content,has successfully achieved it's core targets through the use of high-quality large language models (LLMs)

Overview and Key Findings

The initial 90-day launch period yielded the following results;

1: Total sign-ups:12,540 against initial target of 10,000.

Rate:25% above expected target.

2: Average daily active users: 1,680 against initial target of 1,500.

Rate:12% above expected target.

3: Trial-to-paid conversions:7.2% below initial target of 8%.

Rate:Slight miss.

The high DAU and extended average session time confirm the product market fit (PMF) among early adopter segment (freelance writers and fast-growing content managers).The primary challenge however lies in optimising the Trial-to-paid conversion rates.

Deep Dive Into Launch Metrics

A: User Acquisition and Growth

Acquisitions were driven primarily by targeted social media campaigns (LinkedIn and niche creator forums),which generated 65% of total sign-ups.The Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) remained at $8.50–which was slightly better than the projected $9.00 thereby demonstrating efficient ad expenses.Our current user base is fully engaged which is a clear indication that Narrative AI is meeting up to it's expectations.

B: Financial Performance

The 7.2 conversion rate while close,still remains a bottleneck in our platform.Post cancellation surveys and in-app analytics points to two main primary friction points;

1:Price Perception:40% of our users cited the $39.99/month tier as too high after the trial period elapsed.

2:Feature Overload:Early users found the initial setup and customisation features confusing,leading to dropout before realising the tool's real value.

User Feedback

Qualitative feedback validates the impact of generative output but highlights problems within the UX/UI systems.

1:Positive (90%): Users lauded the quality of the narrative voice and ability of the tool to maintain the same context across either multiple chapters or longform articles.

2:Neutral (75%): The API integration (for enterprise buyers) was rated highly by top creators but still requires complex developer setup.

3:Critical (60%): The mobile app experience was universally rated as “clunky” and “unintuitive”,severely limiting access for on-the-go creators.

Next Steps and Recommendations

We're recommending a two-way pronged strategy that'll be focused on increasing conversions and expanding the feature set for mobile users;

1:Optimisation of Conversions (30-Day Sprint)

•To introduce a lower priced “Starter” tier at $19.9/month with limited access to features like API and deep customisation.

Goal: To increase conversion rates to 9% by Q4

•Relaunch the onboarding flow with a step-by-step tutorial that'll be integrated directly into the dashboard.

Product Development (Q4 Goals)

•To oversee a complete overhaul of the mobile UI/UX. This is to ensure that our platform becomes the one-stop tool for the broader freelance market.

•To begin R&D of a “Fact-Checking Integration” module,due to the 85% request rates by our survey on concerns relating to AI-generated content strategy.This feature however will give us an edge over our competitors.

We're highly confident that this major steps will stabilise our monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and improve user satisfaction heading into the next fiscal quarter.
